About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making
Provide compassionate nursing care and skilled communication
Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Support outpatient general and colorectal surgery care, including pre-operative consultations, postoperative care, and follow-ups
Support postoperative care for acute care surgery patients from Atrium Health Pineville
Collaborate with the ambulatory nursing team and clinical teammates
Contribute to nursing clinical quality outcomes through evidence-based practice

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred
BSN preferred
Prior ambulatory and surgical experience preferred
Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
