About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise daily activities of a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and unlicensed team members
  • Monitor clinical interaction volumes and acuity and adjust resources in real time
  • Develop and implement audit criteria, resources, and training with clinical quality and education peers
  • Provide individual and group coaching based on team member performance and outcome trends
  • Coordinate and implement processes for compliance with organizational policies, licensure, and state/federal regulations
  • Develop and implement continuing education required for licensure with clinical education
  • Liaise with internal and external business partners to optimize services, close service gaps, improve consumer experience, and increase patient safety
  • Resolve patient, customer, and business partner concerns with the manager when appropriate
  • Participate in strategic planning and implementation supporting departmental and organizational goals
  • Develop and implement change management, communication, and sustainment plans
  • Assess and optimize workflows and develop and implement new workflows or lines of service
  • Perform human resource responsibilities including coaching, performance reviews, hiring, compensation changes, promotions, career ladder progression, professional development, performance improvement planning, and separations
  • Lead team member engagement activities and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct, policies, regulations, and applicable laws

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse License required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in nursing
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical decision-making skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and database applications
  • Functional experience with electronic medical record and telephony systems preferred
  • Ability to work with individuals across varied skill sets and roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to tailor messaging for varied audiences
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks with a high level of autonomy
  • Experience with project management, sustainment planning, and operational budgeting
