About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage referrals, authorizations, and work queue tasks to support provider orders and patient care
Schedule appointments, perform patient check-in, and handle front-end workflow
Communicate with providers regarding orders and coordinate follow-ups
Proactively contact patients to complete labs and prepare for upcoming appointments
Order and maintain clinic supplies to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide flexible support by stepping into patient care as needed, including MA duties and clinical assistance
Document care accurately in the electronic health record
Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED required
Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience
Experience doing prior authorizations is a huge plus
Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
