About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, coordinate and process IT equipment and supply quotes, orders, and basic renewals
  • Monitor deliveries with designated IT vendors
  • Validate charges, submit and approve appropriate invoices for payment processing
  • Receive ordered items and document receipt
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with IT vendors while effectively resolving vendor performance and order issues
  • Respond to business inquiries on spend analytics
  • Identify and assist team members in identifying cost reduction opportunities
  • Identify and mitigate billing issues by working with IT vendors, IT teams, and finance teams
  • Record purchases or basic contract data into appropriate financial tools for budget creation and tracking
  • Interface with accounts payable to support procure to pay practices
  • Research vendors as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science, or Information Technology or Business or related
  • Typically requires up to 2 years of experience in a Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration related field
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in working with large-scale automated material management systems
  • Working knowledge of A/P system, general ledger, and fixed assets
  • Working knowledge of IT software licensing
  • Working knowledge of IT systems function and interactivity
  • Basic understanding of software, hardware, IT service contracts
  • Ability to work with analysis tools such as Excel and ERP financials to analyze data
