About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversees the daily operations of the practice, with the physician co-leader
  • Ensures that practice operations and team members are knowledgeable of and in compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing and accrediting agency standards
  • Promotes effective communication dialogue with providers and staff through daily huddles and staff meetings
  • Analyzes data with physician co-leader to enhance performance and positively affect clinical outcomes
  • Demonstrates fluency in the EMR/Canopy for improved preventive medicine practices
  • Assumes responsibility for the recruitment of qualified staff
  • Manages practice by improving utilization of resources and maintaining practice efficiency
  • Promotes the financial viability and accomplishment of financial goals of the practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical practice (or completion of a practice manager training program)
  • Relevant certifications (MGMA, ACHE, or the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management) are preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills in English are required
  • Bilingual in other language/s based on working location and relevant patient population is preferred
