About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participates as a member of the Area’s senior management team
  • Provides visionary leadership, holds service line expertise and fosters a common vision for the NSL
  • Serve as an NSL representative for Division and Area(s) initiatives and programs
  • Collaborate with NSL, Division and Area(s) leadership to vet and prioritize major program and clinical services initiatives
  • Leads Area(s) monthly operation performance reviews at Area(s) leadership forums
  • Develops and implements annual business plans, growth strategies, and operational objectives
  • Oversees both ambulatory and inpatient services across the care continuum
  • Build effective teams, foster collaboration, and create an atmosphere of open communication
  • Supports institutional program planning for new facilities or programs as needed
  • Represents the NSL in local and state forums
  • Manages administrative service line leaders, including hiring and evaluations
  • Ensures compliance with all organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of behavior
  • Improves employee experience, maintains low turnover rates, and promotes professional development
  • Monitors and improves key financial, quality, and operational metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of healthcare administrative experience, including at least 5 years of demonstrated progressively responsible management experience overseeing clinical operations or service lines, required.
  • Effective communication, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare planning, operations, and financial management.
  • Proven ability to lead large, multispecialty service lines in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and change management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
