Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the application security strategy for the Advocate Aurora Health Workday platform and for the biannual updates.
Work closely with business partners, analysts and cross functional teams to translate security requirements into the configuration enabling role-based workflow and data security.
Lead teams on complex projects and mentor junior team members.
Perform hands-on security group, domain and user security configurations in Workday.
Problem solve and troubleshoot issues relating to Security Configuration.
Participate in Implementations and provide ongoing support of Workday security activities.
Develop and execute test plans based on security requirements, tracking defects and fixes to resolution.
Perform security impact analysis for change requests and Workday release upgrades.
Assist with the configuration and testing of Workday security, audits and maintain existing security structure.
Document the current and future state of Workday security configurations, maintenance and support of Workday tenants.
Recommend best security practices and provide sound solutions to support end to end business processes.
Act as an active member for the Workday community - staying ahead of Workday security updates, fixes and resolutions.
Lead collaborative efforts across a broad range of business partners, stakeholders and external partner resources.
Handle production support and change requests based on the priority.

Requirements

Proven experience administering Workday Security, including security groups, domains, and business process security.
Strong understanding of role-based and user-based security models and access controls.
Experience supporting audits, access reviews, and compliance documentation.
Workday Pro Certification issued by Workday needs to be obtained within 1 year.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
Typically requires 5 years of experience in Workday or other relevant ERP experience.
Exhibits strong facilitation and communication skills to interact with all hospital medical, technical and business personnel.
