About the role
- Prepare financial analyses and risk assessments
- Perform annual forecast, budget, and monthly close activities
- Prepare financial and operational reports
- Create Decision Support reports independently including qualifying the data
- Generate monthly dashboard reports
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to the board
Requirements
- 5 years accounting/finance experience in health insurance, hospital, and/or physician groups
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Advanced analytical skills, including ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and reach sound conclusions
- Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge in healthcare insurance industry, hospital operations, and/or physician practices
- Good project management and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
- CPA or CHFP preferred
