About the role
- Manages the development and execution of healthcare information technology demands and projects.
- Ensures adherence to budget, schedule and scope and business needs using established Enterprise Project Management Office processes and standards.
- Develops project demands based on the initial idea request. Captures information such as stakeholders, objectives, requirements, desired dates, milestones, budget estimates, and resource needs.
- Collaborates with Information Technology teams to ensure solution compliance with approved enterprise technical direction and architectural practices.
- Monitors, reviews, and documents progress towards project milestones and deliverables, actively evaluating the quality of work.
- Conducts post-implementation evaluations and lessons learned sessions to assess project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience required (or equivalent knowledge) in Information Technology or related field
- Typically requires 3 to 6 years of experience in project management in Information Technology with a proven record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to include demand and project management
- Proficient in the use of project management methodologies and processes.
- Experience in Microsoft O365 and Strategic Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.
- Must demonstrate language competency through successful completion of appropriate language assessment.
- National medical interpreter certification preferred.
