About the role
- Designs and develops technical and/or non-technical solutions to moderate to complex business needs
- Gathers, compiles and reviews information and data
- Examines and evaluates existing systems and procedures
- Identifies alternate courses of action, developing tools and/or improvements
- Coordinates the development and implementation of new functionality
- Assists with conversion and operational support planning activities
- Manages training when applicable
- Communicates and interacts with business and technical teams on problems, changes, and enhancements
Requirements
- Epic PB certification preferred
- Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with working on moderate to complex business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation
- Proficient in using EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases
- Strong project management skills with ability to use project management software
- Proficient at specifying user requirements, interacting with technical, health care staff and vendors
- Must have an understanding of change management practices and procedures
