About the role
- Responsible for the development of strategic direction for the Radiology services at AH with oversight of quality, service levels, cost, and operational integrity; regulatory compliance and accreditation
- Works closely with Enterprise leadership to identify and predict the data and analytic needs of the enterprise
- Partner with executive ambulatory leadership to build, test, and disseminate best practices for delivery of primary care and preventative health services
- Develop relationships with and provide mentorship to clinical researchers across the System to promote implementation science, comparative effectiveness research, health services research, health economics, complexity science, bioinformatics, and epidemiology
Requirements
- Advanced degree (i.e.; MHA, MBA) in health care or business administration
- Typically requires 10 years of progressively more responsible radiology management experience
- Experience within an integrated health care system is desirable
- Considerable experience in complex radiology operations, including hospital-based and free-standing facilities
- Solid understanding of the acute care environment is essential
