About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Apptio Cost Transparency, Planning, TBM Studio, and related TBM capabilities through configuration, maintenance, enhancements, issue resolution, data management, and quality controls
Support Benchmarking & Survey Management, including collection, validation, analysis, and timely submission of benchmark and survey data
Work with IT consultancy and business units to develop and understand business cases and requirements for technology-related business problems
Conduct detailed interviews with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technical resources
Define and construct effective functional requirements
Create user-friendly business process mappings of complex systems and workflows
Apply IT and business knowledge to formulate business requirements
Assist with business relationship management, business strategy and planning, and portfolio/demand management
Maintain productive relationships with peers, management, business functions, and external partners
Potentially travel and perform duties in a normal office environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
Typically requires 3 years of experience in information systems including business applications analysis
Hands-on experience configuring and developing models in Apptio Technology Business Management (TBM) Studio
Working knowledge of Technology Business Management (TBM) principles
Demonstrated TBM and Apptio experience, including configuration, cost transparency, planning, reporting, and financial management activities
Ability to assess Apptio enhancements, AI insights, automation, and platform features
Ability to interpret, compare, and summarize benchmark and survey results
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to understand business direction, goals, and IT system implications
Attention to detail in functional requirements, risk assessments, cost estimates, plans, and project tracking
Ability to write effective presentations and documentation
Ability to share knowledge, document processes, support platform enablement, and apply TBM and Apptio best practices
Ability to mentor junior team members and delegate tasks
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong judgment and creativity in solving complex or ambiguous problems
Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex problems
No licensure, registration, or certification required
