About the role
- Provide medical physics services at or above state and federal requirements and national standards of care in radiation oncology
- Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with staff and patients
- Support the administration of the radiation safety program, including regulatory compliance, staff training, and supervision of radioactive source handling and disposal
- Perform dosimetric calculations for external beam, brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceutical therapy to ensure accurate treatment planning and delivery
- Supervise medical physicist assistants or medical physics residents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Conduct weekly chart reviews and other checks of treatment plans to maintain high standards of patient care
Requirements
- Master's Physics or Engineering Required
- 3+ Work Experience Required
- Medical health Physicist (MHP) Required
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Willingness to work day shift in Orlando, FL (on-site/hybrid)
