About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- leading and strategizing complex recruitment campaigns focused on senior and specialized positions
- shaping and influencing the overall recruitment strategy
- owning business and stakeholder relationships, providing strategic guidance and coaching in close partnership with hiring managers
- developing innovative and targeted sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates
- building talent networks in the life sciences industry
- overseeing the candidate assessment process
- mentoring and guiding junior team members
- managing recruitment projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- providing thought leadership and insights on industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of progressive corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience
- 5+ years of experience advising and influencing senior leaders, including Sr Director and Executive-level stakeholders
- demonstrate advanced proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn)
- experience with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- experience recruiting in the life science and/or clinical research industry
- strong leadership track record, including formal project leadership and mentorship of junior team members
- exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across all lines of business
- in-depth understanding of industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics
- strategic mindset, critical thinking abilities, and creative problem-solving skills within the realm of recruitment and HR
- deep understanding of legal and compliance aspects related to recruitment
- sound judgment and decision-making skills in recruitment matters
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly desirable.
