About the role
- Support screening resumes, contact candidates and schedule interviews for recruitment and selection processes.
- Assist in the hiring/onboarding process by requesting personal documents and scheduling pre-employment medical exams.
- Support timekeeping control of employees through the electronic time clock system.
- Assist in maintaining medical, dental and life insurance benefits, including adding and removing employees and dependents.
- Post invoices in the SAP system and monitor invoices received and outstanding throughout the month.
- Assist with monthly payroll data entry.
- Support the process for ratifying collective bargaining agreements by scheduling assemblies, organizing voting and verifying documentation to be sent to the union.
- Manage physical and electronic documents.
- Keep building management/condominium informed of active/inactive employees.
- Manage parking spaces allocated to employees in the building parking lot.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources or Psychology (from a university program that does not require a CRP-licensed supervisor for the internship).
- Expected graduation after July 2027; available for evening classes.
