About the role

  • Support screening resumes, contact candidates and schedule interviews for recruitment and selection processes.
  • Assist in the hiring/onboarding process by requesting personal documents and scheduling pre-employment medical exams.
  • Support timekeeping control of employees through the electronic time clock system.
  • Assist in maintaining medical, dental and life insurance benefits, including adding and removing employees and dependents.
  • Post invoices in the SAP system and monitor invoices received and outstanding throughout the month.
  • Assist with monthly payroll data entry.
  • Support the process for ratifying collective bargaining agreements by scheduling assemblies, organizing voting and verifying documentation to be sent to the union.
  • Manage physical and electronic documents.
  • Keep building management/condominium informed of active/inactive employees.
  • Manage parking spaces allocated to employees in the building parking lot.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources or Psychology (from a university program that does not require a CRP-licensed supervisor for the internship).
  • Expected graduation after July 2027; available for evening classes.
