About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer employee personnel files and ensure records are complete, current, accurate, and compliant
  • Conduct personnel file audits and coordinate corrective actions
  • Maintain electronic employee records in SharePoint, ADP Workforce Now, and other HR systems
  • Monitor document retention and recordkeeping requirements
  • Prepare documentation for internal audits, accreditation reviews, and compliance requests
  • Administer Form I-9 completion, verification, audits, corrections, and reverification
  • Manage the Benefits Inbox and maintain and audit benefits records
  • Track leave requests, certifications, approvals, return-to-work documentation, and benefit continuation requirements
  • Manage leave-related communications and coordinate benefit reimbursement payment plans
  • Support HRIS transactions, data integrity audits, onboarding, Healthicity training records, and compliance tracking
  • Provide backup support for onboarding and other HR operational processes
  • Report directly to the Director of Corporate Human Resources
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong understanding of personnel recordkeeping, employment documentation, and HR compliance practices
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits administration and leave management, including FMLA and ADA considerations
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and electronic document management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Experience conducting personnel file audits and maintaining employee records strongly preferred
  • Experience working within a state-regulated and/or accredited healthcare environment, with TJC preferred, highly desirable
