About the role
- Design, develop, and execute reliability and durability test plans for HMI, embedded electronics, electromechanical assemblies, touch interfaces, displays, and wearable devices.
- Conduct environmental, mechanical, electrical, and operational stress testing to evaluate product robustness.
- Support compliance testing related to product safety and EMC/EMI in accordance with international standards (e.g., UL/IEC, FCC, CE).
- Define test requirements aligned with customer, regulatory, and internal reliability objectives.
- Analyze test data to identify failure trends, performance limits, and potential reliability risks.
- Provide clear feedback and actionable recommendations to design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Lead or support failure analysis and root-cause investigations using structured methodologies (5-Why, FMEA, fault-tree analysis).
- Contribute to reliability growth and continuous improvement initiatives across NPI and Sustaining Engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in reliability engineering, test engineering, product engineering, or system-level testing, preferably involving HMI, embedded electronics, or electro-mechanical products.
- Proven experience designing and executing reliability and durability tests.
- Strong knowledge of reliability testing methodologies, quality standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with EMC/EMI, product safety, and international regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to document, present, and communicate technical findings effectively.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
