About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The SAM will serve as the primary point of contact for all parts of the strategic account deal: prospecting leads, selling the Commercial Promise, closing profitable deals, managing ongoing marketing.
- Responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of account-specific business plans, serving as the primary account contact, providing account leadership.
- Achieving growth, profitability, and sales-to-target goals.
- Partners cross-functionally with the Operations and Marketing teams to deliver the promise of Service Is Our Best Part to each account.
- Serves as a leader and subject matter resource for the entire Commercial Sales team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing strategic or enterprise-level accounts, preferably within automotive, dealership, or B2B commercial sales.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and deal-closing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth.
- Experience developing and executing account-specific business plans.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and influence skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and program effectiveness measurement.
- Ability to work independently in an individual contributor role while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Comfortable presenting to customers, senior leaders, and large groups.
- Willingness to travel as required.
