About the role
- Spare parts inventory management
- Point of contact and interface for inquiries from SBX regarding new service contracts or renewals
- Calculation of appropriate material quantities based on requests, technical specifications and quality data
- Determination of the geographic support location or depot for spare materials
- Organization and coordination of all necessary logistical transactions for material movement
- Continuous review of all existing spare parts inventories and locations to offload obsolete and unneeded materials
- Support for the process owner in maintaining and improving the spare parts management process
- Definition of delivery requirements for new RMA cases
- Support for all reverse-logistics-related planning activities
- Cost-optimized operations across all areas, with particular focus on inventory value
- Optimization of the depot network in close coordination with customer service
Requirements
- Completed degree or vocational training in business administration or sales
- Knowledge of return/reverse logistics processes
- Knowledge of Adtran products and components
- Experience with MS Office, SAP, MAX and Agile
- Strong analytical skills
- Good command of English
- Experience in data mining and analysis
- Knowledge of project management
