About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a global team of Data Engineers and Scientists, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and career pathing
  • Promote a culture of Technical Evangelism by coaching team members to synthesize complex technical architectures into high-level business strategies for executive stakeholders
  • Foster cross-functional synergy with Sales and Account Management to bridge technical knowledge gaps and identify strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Own resource allocation for a diverse portfolio of projects, matching talent to high-impact initiatives
  • Develop and refine internal efficiencies and offerings to reduce manual effort
  • Monitor team capacity versus pipeline to support year-over-year departmental growth
  • Audit project delivery processes to identify automation and R&D-led innovation opportunities
  • Guide the team in implementing best practices in solution development and client relationships
  • Define performance expectations, ensure accountability, and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring
  • Develop supportive working relationships, motivation, and engagement
  • Prioritize direct-report workloads based on customer and business priorities
  • Oversee team work at a high level to ensure timely delivery and quality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in professional services or technical consulting
  • At least 1–3 years in a leadership or management capacity
  • College degree, preferably in Technical Management, or equivalent leadership experience
  • Proven success coaching and mentoring experienced technical resources
  • Exceptional communication with executive-level stakeholders and technical individual contributors
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on a team and prioritize individual workload
