About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic global merchandising for GKA wholesale partners within the athletic specialty channel
- Shape strategic planning across multiple business units aligned to global category direction
- Own global merchandising GKA plan(s) deployed by regional channel merchandising teams
- Develop assortments achieving shape, share, and product mix targets defined in long-range plans
- Protect integrity of key models through disciplined lifecycle management and product segmentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 12-15+ years of industry experience with preferred working experience directly with wholesale partners
- Deadline oriented and analytically skilled
- Knowledgeable in channel segmentation, range architecture, product assortment planning, concept drivers, and product flow
- Sophisticated communicator able to present and negotiate with the key account team and influence multiple regions and senior leadership
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment with proven leadership skills
