About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensuring safety for everyone involved, including Risk Assessment and compliance with safety protocols.
- Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes, generators, and other critical systems.
- Execute maintenance, minor to medium repairs, and special projects following established procedures.
- Travel extensively to support turbine operations across multiple platforms and site conditions.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred wind turbine experience with hands-on MCE work.
- Minimum one year of wind technician experience, or six months wind technician experience with a Wind Technician certificate/education, or 2 years of transferrable mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and executing major repairs on various platforms.
- Comfortable with 100% travel and working in varied site conditions.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.
- Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- You have a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
