About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure safety for everyone involved which includes Risk Assessment and identifying potential hazards before starting.
Use appropriate gear, follow protocols, and maintain a safe environment.
Adhere to safety regulations and standards to prevent accidents.
Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes, generators, and other critical systems.
Execute maintenance, minor to medium repairs, design modifications, retrofits, and special projects.
Travel extensively to support turbine operations across multiple platforms and site conditions.
Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred wind turbine experience with hands-on MCE work.
Minimum one year of wind technician experience, or six months wind technician experience with a Wind Technician certificate/education, or 2 years of transferrable mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.
Proven expertise in troubleshooting and executing major repairs on various platforms.
Comfortable with 100% travel and working in varied site conditions.
A collaborative technician who thrives on solving complex challenges.
Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.
Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
