About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operational alignment of vessels starting on new projects - coordinating inspections, shaping practical procedures, and embedding best practices to the projects.
- Support BIMCO contract negotiations and tenders for service vessels (CTV and SOV).
- Evaluate overall logistical concepts to improve and streamline the concepts supporting Commissioning and Service.
- Support ongoing Vestas vessel operations and follow up charter party contract during execution phase.
- Guide Sales, Construction and Service teams in vessel related service assignments, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and connect people and solutions across teams.
- Support reductions in emissions on the chartered fleet of Crew Transfer vessels and Service Operation Vessels with vessel owners and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering (mechanical/civil/marine) or nautical degree
- Experience within offshore wind or maritime industry
- Advanced project management skill
- Good contractual and commercial understanding
- In-depth knowledge in vessel designs and marine operations
- Comprehensive understanding of vessel related inspection and safety standards (e.g. IMCA, SOLAS)
- Good understanding to validate new products and concepts
- Understanding of Data management, (Power BI and excel)
- Able to work individually as well as in teams
- An international mindset
- Good communication and IT skills
- Progressive approach and self-motivated attitude
- Able to schedule, priorities and follow-up task
