About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting to the SOV Shift Manager, the Offshore Shift Supervisor is the on-site operational leader for offshore wind turbine service activities
- This role provides direct supervision of offshore technicians servicing and maintaining the V236 turbine fleet and holds day-to-day responsibility for safe work execution
- Ensure offshore operations are planned, controlled, and executed in compliance with safety requirements, customer expectations, and company standards
- Act as the primary offshore operational interface between the customer, SOV crew, site leadership, and field technicians during active shifts
- Monitor weather forecasts continuously and assess operational impacts on transfers, turbine access, and task execution
- Organize and coordinate vessel and O&M crew transfers, ensuring personnel safety, logistical readiness, and regulatory compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic experience with a strong desire to further develop skills in these fields
- Must have completed TBC 300 Core & Specific tasks on any platform or be recognized as an A-Level Technician
- Must be nominated as an AT-LT, or have a reasonable path to achieving AT-LT status within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a commercial–industrial mechanical or electrical environment, preferably with wind turbines
- Strong understanding of VOB SCADA operations and Toolkit
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and IT tools (smartphones, computers, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport, and willingness to travel.
