About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure safety for everyone involved, including risk assessments and protective measures.
  • Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes, generators, and other critical systems.
  • Execute maintenance, minor to medium repairs, design modifications, retrofits, and special projects.
  • Travel extensively to support turbine operations across multiple platforms and site conditions.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Preferred wind turbine experience with hands-on MCE work.
  • Minimum one year of wind technician experience, or six months wind technician experience with a Wind Technician certificate/education, or 2 years of transferrable mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and executing major repairs on various platforms.
  • Comfortable with 100% travel and working in varied site conditions.
  • A collaborative technician who thrives on solving complex challenges.
  • Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.
  • Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
