About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop the Production Quality team.
- Oversee product and process quality across the factory to ensure consistent delivery of high standards.
- Manage preventive quality engineering and continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Maintain the local Quality Management System and ISO 9001 readiness.
- Manage internal, external, and customer quality audits.
- Use quality performance data and insights to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Represent Quality in strategic projects and stakeholder forums.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
- ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification as a minimum.
- Experience with Quality Core Tools, including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC (desirable).
- Black Belt certification (desirable).
- Quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) (desirable).
- Experience as a Quality Specialist, Non-conformity Case Handler, or Quality Approver (desirable).
