Service Technician – HKW VI
AdobeService Technician responsible for operations and maintenance of offshore wind turbines at Vestas. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards in an informal culture promoting teamwork.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met
- Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines
- Perform periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications together with component replacement (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) and troubleshooting on the systems
- Maintain accurate document trails through CMS
- Registration of time & Materials to Work Orders
- Monitor Turbines and pro-actively prepare for the required maintenance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or practical experience in relevant fields
- Technical education (Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics)
- Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR would be advantageous
- Ability to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and/or maintenance activities
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) and general IT, possibly with SAP experience
- Full Dutch / European Driving License - Having personal transportation is a pre
