About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design intuitive, high-quality experiences for video and audio creation workflows
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to take ideas from concept to delivery
  • Contribute to end-to-end design work, including flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Communicate design ideas and rationale clearly to teammates and stakeholders
  • Iterate on feedback and explore multiple approaches to arrive at strong solutions
  • Stay current with emerging design tools and technologies, and experiment with new approaches where they add value
  • Participate in critiques, design sprints, and collaborative working sessions to improve the overall product experience
  • Help bring clarity and structure to projects by organizing work, aligning with partners, and keeping efforts moving forward
  • Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and team collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a design field, such as product, UX, interaction, or visual design
  • Ability to take on moderately complex or ambiguous problems and move them forward independently
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and tradeoffs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional partners
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar
  • Curiosity about how new technologies can support creative workflows and design processes
  • An experimental mindset, with interest in trying new tools, workflows, or ways of working
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document ideas and decisions
  • A passion for learning and continuously developing your craft and domain expertise
  • Experience with video, motion, or audio tools (nice-to-have)
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools in your workflow (nice-to-have)
