About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines as part of your team.
- Travel to different sites, work with diverse teams, and gain varied experiences, including managing travel logistics and cost coding.
- Perform safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with strong self-management.
- Work on construction and installation projects and oversee the full lifecycle of turbines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 6 months with a wind energy technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to best practices.
- Ability to work well in a team and thrive in collaborative environments.
- Good physical condition; comfortable working in a variety of conditions and at height.
- Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in both French and English.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship required.
