Group Product Design Manager – Monetization Platform

Adobe

Group Design Manager leading and growing a team focused on monetization and commerce experiences at Adobe. Shaping scalable, end-to-end experiences across the customer lifecycle.

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set and enforce the quality bar and strategy across all monetization experiences — acquisition, expansion, retention, and payments
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Staff, and Senior designers, plus one Product Design Manager
  • Drive the shift from execution to data-informed strategy: problem definition, opportunity identification, roadmap influence
  • Own squad-level product and engineering relationships for routine alignment and to influence the strategy
  • Partner with Sr. Staff Product Designers on innovation, cross-cutting quality and systems work — lateral relationships, not management
  • Translate the team's design principles — composability, E2E ownership, data-informed discovery, quality as a gate — into how the team actually works day to day
  • Communicate upward clearly: status, blockers, strategic risks, and team development
  • Bring clarity to ambiguity and focus teams on highest-impact work
  • Hire, mentor, and grow design leaders and teams; elevate UI craft
  • Lead AI-native workflows, scaling design-to-production (e.g., Figma-to-code, coded systems)
