About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, implement, and maintain image-focused nodes in Project Graph
Design node interfaces that are performant, predictable, and easy for creators to compose
Collaborate with engineering leadership, model teams, and partner teams to deliver on the technical vision
Champion strong fundamentals: simplicity, performance, reliability, and maintainability
Contribute to the architecture and operation of a large-scale, globally distributed system
Apply AI-assisted tools to write, test, and refactor code
Elevate the team through thoughtful code reviews and design discussions
Work closely with product managers, designers, and customer-facing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Over 10 years designing, testing, and managing complex software systems
Strong proficiency with image processing fundamentals
Experience integrating AI image models into production systems
Hands-on experience with GPU-accelerated image work
Familiarity with Creative Cloud APIs, image SDKs, or media frameworks is welcome
Ability to decompose complex systems into clear abstractions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong sense of ownership and a passion for building products that delight users
A self-directed engineer with a strong sense of ownership, high standards for craft
