About the role
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating analysts and engineers
- Managing the lifecycle of security incidents
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies
- Selecting, managing, and optimizing security tools
- Providing regular metrics to upper management
- Identifying vulnerabilities and conducting risk assessments
Requirements
- Minimum 3-6 years in a SOC environment
- 2+ years in a management or lead position
- Deep understanding of network security
- Infrastructure (Cloud, Servers)
- Malware analysis
- Vulnerability management
- Practical experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH, CompTIA Security+/CySA+
- Ability to mentor analysts and manage incident response
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
