About the role

  • Design, and optimizing tools for the Bonding processes.
  • Tool development, Tooling requirements and specifications
  • Create tooling and supplier roadmap via analysis of AS IS and future state
  • Supplier management, CAPEX Budget and Tool Delivery (TPM)
  • Service and maintenance strategy including EAM
  • Use digital tools like digital twins and data analytics to improve performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Investigating and solving production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA
  • Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen

Requirements

  • University degree in Master Mechanical Engineering or alike
  • About 10 years of experience in similar roles as described above
  • Fluent English, Polish language will be valuable
  • Knowledge of composite materials used in bonding (including adhesives) is required
  • Willingness to travel to support multiple Vestas sites
  • Having knowledge and experience within Tool development, Tools functional requirements specification, Leading tooling projects
  • Ability to guide supplier selection, manage innovation, budget ownership and cost-effective tooling proposals
  • Knowledge of Kaizen methodologies, GB Six Sigma and CAD/CATIA understanding will be beneficial
  • Deep understanding of how the manufacturing processes can be automized for the benefit of the product quality
  • Ability to challenge existing supplier boundaries and seek innovative solutions
  • You are interested and willing to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems
  • You can be an engaged part of cross functional product development projects
  • You are self-motivated; result-oriented and possess great organizational discipline
  • You are customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective.
