About the role
- Execute end‑to‑end procurement activities for direct materials.
- Develop, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and reliable delivery.
- Conduct market analysis to support strategic sourcing initiatives and risk mitigation.
- Ensure supplier compliance with Vestas standards, including sustainability, safety, and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to support project and operational needs.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop improvement plans when necessary.
- Support cost‑reduction initiatives and contribute to supply chain optimization projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles - in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments.
- Solid negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English; Spanish is valued.
- Knowledge of contract management and procurement best practices.
