About the role

  • You will play a central role in our legal matters and work closely with a team of colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide strategic legal advice.
  • Draft and negotiate onshore and offshore service agreements, and, where applicable, support the sale of new wind turbines.
  • Manage disputes and potential litigation.
  • Coordinate external law firms.
  • Oversee operations and maintenance contracts as well as corporate governance matters.
  • Analyze complex legal issues, assess risks, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to cross-border projects to support our international sales, service, construction, and procurement teams.
  • Collaborate with the Legal & Compliance team to optimize processes and ensure compliance with national laws and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Legal qualification: Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Volljurist) with at least 5 years' professional experience — in a law firm, an international company, or a matrix organization.
  • Client orientation: You demonstrate quality awareness, result orientation, and a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Industry experience: At least 5 years' professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Knowledge in renewable energy, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
  • Experience in the oil & gas sector or construction industry is an advantage.
  • Contract drafting: Experience drafting German- and English-language contracts (e.g., FIDIC contracts) is desirable.
  • Innovative & team-oriented: You enjoy working in a motivated team and finding creative solutions.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience negotiating and communicating in a global environment and with external partners.
  • Legal skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, apply legal principles, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Responsibility & integrity: The highest ethical standards are a given for you.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel as required by company needs.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English, including legal and commercial terminology.
