About the role
- Based in East Coast office (New York or Boston) working on enterprise licensing and sales support for Adobe's cloud-based services, on-premise software, support programs, and professional services
- 75-80% focus on negotiating contracts for Digital Experience and Digital Media enterprise solutions
- Provide legal counsel to Sales/Sales Management and other internal groups on licensing topics including cloud services terms, IP, commercial terms, data privacy, AI
- Lead, co-lead or participate in team/group projects
- Mentor junior attorneys and new hires
- Work in Adobe's hybrid model (blend of office and remote work)
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years proven experience in complex, enterprise software (SaaS/Cloud and on-premise) contract negotiations
- Successful track record supporting sales professionals
- Subject matter knowledge in software licensing, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), information security, indemnification, warranties, SLAs
- Positive, can-do demeanor and ability to balance legal and business concerns
- Service oriented and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Mentoring experience for junior attorneys and new hires
- Experience with financial services industry issues (e.g., GLBA) is a plus
