Key responsibilities & impact- Assists in the development, execution and administration of corporate Safety and Security programs
- Conducts inspections and audits for compliance assessment
- Travels to various locations for operational practices assessment
- Utilizes company security systems
- Supports Safety Coordinators in their training efforts
- Documents compliance/non-compliance with operational requirements
- Provides direction for safety and security policy improvements
- Prepares reports on safety and security observations
- Represents the organization in safety and security groups
Requirements
What you’ll need- Assists in the development, execution and administration of corporate Safety and Security programs
- Conducts inspections and audits to be used by management to assess compliance with laws, regulations and company policies
- Travels to locations where company employees and assets are deployed to observe, inspect, investigate, or audit operational practices and operations
- Supports the efforts and training of the Safety Coordinators in the field
- Provides direction to management for improvement to operational safety and security policies, procedures, and resources
- Prepares reports in the requested format documenting observations, audits, and inspections
- Consults with all management and line employees on design and execution of corporate safety and security programs
- Represents the organization in community or industry safety and security groups and programs
