About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own uptime, resilience, and incident response strategy across all Aditude products and CPMStar’s SSP infrastructure
Lead resolution of critical, high-severity infrastructure issues company-wide
Design, deploy, and directly manage scalable infrastructure across Kubernetes and Docker-based environments
Own infrastructure cost management and capacity planning
Identify and execute cost-optimization initiatives
Establish and evolve CI/CD standards and pipelines across the engineering organization
Drive deployment automation and release reliability across all product lines
Champion Terraform infrastructure-as-code practices
Own the internal infrastructure and developer tooling roadmap, including observability, logging, and platform tooling
Evaluate and introduce tools to improve engineering velocity and operational visibility
Own network and system security, including Zero Trust architecture, access control, and OPA policy enforcement
Drive compliance and security posture, including SOC 2 readiness
Set and enforce infrastructure, deployment, and third-party integration security standards
Coach and develop the Senior Cloud Ops Engineer
Hire, structure, and lead a larger infrastructure team as the company scales
Partner with the CTO and product teams to align infrastructure investment with business priorities
Represent infrastructure in cross-functional planning and report on reliability, cost, and risk

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud operations
At least 2+ years in a lead or management capacity
Deep, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker
Strong infrastructure-as-code experience, especially Terraform
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and orchestration
Strong scripting and automation skills using Go, Python, or TypeScript
Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch
Experience owning network and system security, including Zero Trust, network segmentation, access control, and compliance frameworks
Fluency working alongside AI coding agents such as Claude Code
Experience managing infrastructure cost and capacity at scale
Ability to balance strategic ownership with hands-on execution
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and experience translating infrastructure tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders and leadership
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification preferred
Experience with dedicated or bare-metal infrastructure preferred
Experience securing or operating infrastructure for an ad tech or programmatic SSP/DSP business preferred
Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, ClickHouse, or other data streaming tools at scale preferred
Knowledge of container security best practices and tools preferred
Experience standing up or scaling an infrastructure function from a small team preferred
Authorization to work in the United States
Must answer whether United States work sponsorship is required
