About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure compliance with SLAs for operational tasks of assigned accounts.
Be responsible for the US–Brazil Data Center infrastructure.
Be responsible for the availability and operation of assigned services.
Design project architectures for assigned accounts.
Maintain Adistec's solution portfolio.
Perform tests on products from various vendors to create new service offerings.
Design and implement Proofs of Concept (PoC) for prospective clients.
Implement new technologies in the Data Center.
Escalate AS-related issues to the ATS.
Provide testing support to reproduce failures and identify root causes.
Interact with technology service providers and vendors within Adistec's current portfolio.
Be responsible for special Data Center projects (BGP – routing, expansions, interconnections, Internet, etc.).
Develop solutions for engineering problems of moderate to high complexity.
Collaborate with other engineers to implement operational solutions, defining and adhering to industry best practices.
Execute consulting projects within the professional services area.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: 3 to 5 years in IT.
Computer skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required).
Languages: Intermediate English and Spanish (Required).
Knowledge of: Operating Systems (Windows, Linux); Networking (intermediate); Storage technologies (intermediate); Systems administration (intermediate); Virtualization (intermediate); Security (intermediate); and basic familiarity with vendor software.
Implementation experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, as required by the company.
