About the role

  • Responsible for business development, closing sales and supporting channels to meet quotas for assigned brands and/or business units.
  • Develop Business Plans for assigned manufacturers.
  • Establish relationships with Channels and Manufacturers.
  • Deliver ongoing product training and other training that enhances commercial performance.
  • Keep sales certifications required by the brand up to date.
  • Manage Channel training on each Manufacturer's tools.
  • Present commercial proposals, follow up on opportunities, and participate in the purchasing process for both equipment and licensing (new purchases and renewals).
  • Coordinate course calendars with the Education Department where applicable.
  • Organize activities with Channels to generate pipeline/forecast.
  • Meet the quota established for assigned manufacturers.
  • Align equipment with the corresponding manufacturer (Channel Managers, PSM, PSS).
  • Coordinate the SE’s schedule and priorities together with the Commercial Manager.
  • Develop the business plans for assigned manufacturers.
  • Maintain relationships with Channels and the Manufacturer's sales team.
  • Maintain relationships with key channel contacts, including Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Marketing, and Procurement.
  • Report and track the forecast with the Commercial Manager and the Supplier – Nestsuite.
  • Monitor the purchasing process with the operations area to provide status updates to the channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the technology market working with channels and manufacturers, with a focus on and experience in cybersecurity and firewalls within distribution channels and manufacturers.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Advanced English (required) and Spanish (preferred).
  • Experience with ERPs is preferred.
