About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Key Account Manager, your mission will be to grow our market share and sales for the category(ies) under your responsibility, while respecting adidas’ brand strategy and ensuring mutual profitability with distributors.
- Formalize, in collaboration with your manager, the strategic plan for your category(ies) and act as the primary internal contact for teams in France (Sales, Marketing and Finance in particular) as well as for European teams.
- Build the sell-in assortment plan for your categories.
- Develop sales forecasts based on the sell-out performance of your client(s) and define corrective actions to implement in order to achieve your commercial objectives.
- Participate in the development, negotiation and implementation of adidas commercial terms and conditions.
- Analyze sell-in and sell-out data to proactively identify order-book risks and opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You demonstrate a genuine affinity for the lifestyle universe.
- You have 4–5 years of commercial experience with significant commercial achievements in the sports, fashion, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector in France.
- You are recognized for strong strategic, analytical and operational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, agility, commercial awareness, proven negotiation skills and strong interpersonal abilities are your strengths.
- Experienced in negotiation and sales techniques, you can handle commercial pressure and understand consumer needs and market challenges.
- You are known for excellent communication skills.
- You have a real curiosity about all things digital and advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Finally, you are fully comfortable in English (presentation skills, reporting to European teams, negotiation) and in French (minimum C1).
