About the role

  • Knows the store targets and individual goals and works actively to achieve or exceed them, using all available resources
  • Meets or exceeds customer expectations and drives sales and brand awareness by applying appropriate elements of the Customer guiding principles
  • Builds an emotional connection with every customer by acting as a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador
  • Actively incorporates basic knowledge and facts about seasonal products into the service approach in their store area
  • Maintains an attractive, pleasant environment where customers enjoy shopping, paying attention to visual merchandising as well as order and cleanliness
  • Adheres to the rules and procedures (SOM guidelines) that apply to the store and maintains a safe shopping and working environment
  • Ensures product availability for the customer by assisting when deliveries arrive and the sales floor needs replenishing
  • Minimizes losses by always monitoring stock levels when serving customers
  • Trains/onboards new employees (if applicable)
  • Works productively and respectfully with team members to achieve or exceed store goals
  • Completes all mandatory training programs and successfully applies them to their work
  • Cash handling / cashier duties (if applicable)
  • o Ensures correct payment procedures including careful handling of merchandise
  • o Performs cash reconciliation and till closing procedures carefully
  • o Completes sales quickly and accurately and follows prescribed cash security guidelines (if applicable)
  • Endless Aisle (if applicable) — Informs customers about the ordering/sales option in the online shop and uses the Endless Aisle tablet to provide product descriptions and/or customer feedback on products during the sales process
  • Click & Collect (if applicable) — Monitors and oversees new online orders placed by customers that need to be reserved, packed and handed over to the customer in-store
  • Ship from Store (if applicable) — Monitors and oversees new online orders that must be shipped to customers

Requirements

  • 0–3 years retail experience
  • Vocational training as a salesperson preferred
  • Basic English skills
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills, strong communication skills
  • Good German language skills
