About the role
- Lead payroll strategy and operations for a retail organization
- Oversee end-to-end payroll for 1,000+ employees
- Ensure compliance with CLT and local labor laws
- Manage payroll growth during high-volume hiring and terminations
- Ensure accurate processing of salaries, benefits, and taxes
- Lead negotiations and compliance with 21+ union trades
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal
- Drive automation and process improvements
Requirements
- 10+ years in payroll management
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in Retail or massive workforce industries
- Experience managing multiple unions and CBAs
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor regulations (CLT)
- Expertise in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, TOTVS)
- Experience with audits and compliance reporting
