About the role
- Builds an emotional connection with customers and embodies the brand values
- Serves customers, makes sales, and conscientiously carries out store operations
- Knows store targets and individual goals and actively works to meet or exceed them, using all available resources
- Meets or exceeds customer expectations and increases sales and brand awareness by applying appropriate elements of the customer experience standards
- Complies with store rules and procedures (SOM regulations) and maintains a safe shopping and working environment
- Ensures product availability for customers by assisting with deliveries and restocking the sales floor
- Minimizes losses by monitoring inventory while serving customers
- Trains new employees (where applicable)
Requirements
- 0–3 years of retail experience
- Formal training as a salesperson preferred
- Basic English skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, and good communication skills
