About the role

  • Operate, maintain, and further develop Linux-based system landscapes in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Automate infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, or Argo CD
  • Incident handling, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Close collaboration with DevOps teams and customer projects to ensure stable and scalable environments
  • Contribute to internal best practices and actively share knowledge within the team

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in system engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
  • Confident working knowledge of Linux, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern cloud stacks
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation
  • Understanding of networking, security concepts, and distributed systems
  • Passion for technology, openness to new approaches, and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Fluent German (at least C1) and good technical English skills
  • Independent, structured working style — and genuine enthusiasm for remote teamwork
