About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support in the operational day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle, particularly for onboarding, offboarding and contract changes (part-time arrangements, parental leave, sabbaticals, etc.)
  • Maintenance of employee master data and digital personnel files in Personio
  • Creation and maintenance of HR documents, templates, checklists and reports
  • Maintenance and updates of the HR intranet
  • Support with payroll-related processes, e.g., maintaining absence and time-tracking data
  • Support for employee benefits, bonus and salary rounds, and modern HR technologies such as artificial intelligence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Enrolled at a German university in the advanced stage of a bachelor’s program or at the beginning of a master’s program with coursework related to human resources
  • Ideally, initial experience in the mentioned areas through internships, university projects or similar
  • Experience working with common HR software is a plus
  • Interest in and availability for a longer collaboration (minimum 1 year)
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Independent and well-organized working style, including in a virtual environment
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
