Account Manager – Marketplace, Chinese Market

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect the international market to identify, prioritize and manage a sales pipeline
- Lead negotiations and recruit high-potential sellers to the marketplace
- Build strong relationships with new sellers and provide data-driven insights and high-quality support to help them grow their business on the Leroy Merlin Marketplace
- Monitor and analyze seller performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, profitability and operational performance
- Coordinate and manage projects across the organization (IT, Retail, stores, Finance, etc.) and communicate with internal and external stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines for high-visibility projects
- Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to improve our offering and maintain a competitive advantage
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in French, English and Chinese (C1)
- 1 to 3 years of experience (including apprenticeships or internships) in consulting, e‑commerce, FMCG or retail
- Proven commercial and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Eagerness to learn
- Highly organized, result-oriented and proactive
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of the e‑commerce sector and marketplace platforms is a plus
