About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Adelaide Metrics’ financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls across the organization
- Oversee billing and accounts receivable processes, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance activities
- Provide insights that support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare financial reports and analyses for executive review
- Monitor financial KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support cash flow planning and monitoring to ensure financial stability
- Manage end-to-end billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate financial audits and support audit preparation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience (4+ years) as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Acts as a problem solver and brings new ideas to the table
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Works well in a team or independently, and can handle multiple tasks with rigorous deadlines
