About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage Adelaide Metrics’ financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls across the organization
Oversee billing and accounts receivable processes, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance activities
Provide insights that support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting
Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare financial reports and analyses for executive review
Monitor financial KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Support cash flow planning and monitoring to ensure financial stability
Manage end-to-end billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate financial audits and support audit preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Proven experience (4+ years) as a Financial Controller or similar role
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Acts as a problem solver and brings new ideas to the table
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Works well in a team or independently, and can handle multiple tasks with rigorous deadlines
