About the role
- Coordinate with offshore resources and hiring managers throughout the hiring process, including preliminary interviews, and lead new-hire onboarding by preparing materials and facilitating sessions
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS, and support testing and implementation of new system functionality
- Address employee questions on HR policies and procedures, providing guidance or directing them to the appropriate resources
- Co-manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication with staff
- Under the direction of Management, prepare and process HR documents (contracts, promotions, terminations), and draft and update job descriptions and organizational charts
- Coordinate annual performance review cycles, including distributing and collecting reviews and supporting the annual pay increase review
- Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for management review to support ongoing performance management processes
- Assist investigations into employee relations issues, escalate when necessary, and assist in tracking and managing employee attendance and leave requests
- Implement and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, collaborate with other departments on HR-related needs and initiatives, and participate in HR team meetings and projects
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, including scheduling sessions, maintaining training records, and supporting employee growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 3–4 years of recent HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacity
- Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and basic employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency with HR software and systems (e.g., BambooHR)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new HR practices and technologies
- Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
